The U.S. Embassy in Yaoundé has issued a request for quotations (RFQ) for gardening services at its premises. The solicitation, identified as number 19CM8026Q0002, invites interested companies to submit their bids by December 17, 2025, at 10:00 am.
According to the announcement, "The U.S. Government intends to award a contract/purchase order to the responsible company submitting an acceptable offer at the lowest price. We intend to award a contract/purchase order based on initial quotations, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so." This approach means that contracts may be awarded directly from the initial proposals unless further clarification is necessary.
A pre-quotation conference and site visit will take place on December 2, 2025, at 10:00 am at the embassy's location. Interested parties must register no later than December 1, 2025, by emailing Yaounde_procurement@state.gov with up to two representatives' names.
Quotations must be submitted electronically via email and should adhere to specific file format requirements: MS-Word 2007/2010, MS-Excel 2007/2010, or Adobe Acrobat (PDF), with a maximum file size of 30MB. Proposals must be complete and in English; incomplete submissions will not be accepted.
Offerors are required to complete several documents as part of their submission package. These include Standard Form SF-1449, pricing information in Section I, representations and certifications in Section 5, additional information outlined in Section 3 of the solicitation document, proof of DBA insurance coverage, and evidence of registration in the System for Award Management (SAM). Registration with SAM is mandatory before submitting any proposal and can be completed online at https://www.sam.gov.
Matthew Gribbin serves as the contracting officer for this solicitation.
