The Global Alumni Association of Togo (GAAT), together with Togolese alumni from U.S. exchange programs, has received the AEIF 2025 grant for its Digital Young Entrepreneur Lab (DYEL) project. The initiative aims to train 50 early-stage young entrepreneurs from all five regions of Togo. Participants will learn how to use artificial intelligence technologies on their smartphones to help develop and strengthen their businesses.

According to the announcement, "This project will train 50 early-stage young entrepreneurs, spread across the five regions of Togo, to use AI technologies through their smartphones to develop and strengthen their businesses. Already underway, this initiative represents a major step forward in promoting innovation, entrepreneurship, and economic growth in Togo." The statement also congratulated GAAT and the alumni for their "dedication, hard work, and contribution to creating new opportunities!"

The DYEL project is expected to contribute significantly to local innovation and support economic development by equipping young business owners with digital skills.
