The U.S. Embassy in the Philippines has announced that it will remain closed for visa interview appointments on November 18 due to ongoing heavy traffic and road closures caused by rallies near the embassy.

A statement from the embassy said, "The U.S. Embassy in the Philippines will remain closed for visa interview appointments tomorrow, November 18, due to the continued heavy traffic and road closures near the embassy, related to the rallies in the area."

Nonimmigrant visa applicants affected by this closure are advised to reschedule their appointments online at usvisascheduling.com. The embassy has opened additional nonimmigrant visa interview slots to give applicants more scheduling options.

For immigrant visa applicants, new appointment details or instructions on how to reschedule will be sent via their registered email addresses.

Applicants who experience problems with online rescheduling can contact the visa customer service center at (02) 8548 8223 for immediate help. Those who have not received email notifications are encouraged to use the online inquiry form at ph.usembassy.gov/contact-us-visas/.

The offsite Visa Application Center (VAC) in Paranaque City will continue operating as usual for all scheduled biometrics appointments. Applicants with VAC appointments should attend as planned.
