The American Institute in Taiwan (AIT) has announced an open call for firms to provide facility maintenance supplies. The solicitation, listed as BPA Advertisement No. TPE200-25-BPA-0006, outlines specific requirements that interested businesses must meet.

To qualify, companies must have a permanent business address and phone listing in Taiwan, demonstrate at least five years of relevant experience with suitable references, and possess the necessary personnel, equipment, and financial resources to fulfill the contract. Additionally, firms are required to hold all licenses and permits mandated by local law and comply with local insurance standards.

Other criteria include having no adverse criminal record or affiliations that could conflict with AIT interests. Businesses must also accept NET 30 days payment terms via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), be able to provide commercial invoices exclusive of 5% tax, and comply with Section 889 of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).
