A consular team from the United States will visit Tahiti, French Polynesia, from December 15 to 19, 2025. The visit is intended to provide services for American citizens living or traveling in the region.
The services available during this period include passport applications, Consular Reports of Birth Abroad for children of American citizen parents, and notary services for documents intended for use in the United States.
Appointments are required and can be scheduled by emailing TahitiACS@state.gov before the close of business on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 (Fiji time). There are limited appointment slots available. Walk-in requests will be accommodated only if there are open time slots.
The venue for these services is the Consular Agency of the United States of America in French Polynesia, located at Centre Tamanu Hotu, 1er étage, Punaauia.
Processing times have been outlined as follows: emergency limited passports will take approximately two to three weeks; regular passports are expected within four to six weeks; and Consular Reports of Birth Abroad should be ready in five to seven weeks.
