BMO has been named to the 2026 Forbes list of America's Most Trusted Companies. The recognition highlights the bank's ongoing efforts to serve clients, support employees, and contribute to local communities.

The Forbes list, now in its second year, identifies organizations known for transparency, innovation, and a culture of trust. BMO's inclusion is attributed to its focus on building lasting relationships through strong performance and integrity.

"We're honored to be recognized by Forbes as one of America's Most Trusted Companies," said Darrel Hackett, U.S. CEO, BMO. "Trust is the foundation of everything we do at BMO, from how we serve our clients to how we support our colleagues and invest in the communities where we live and work."

The 2026 ranking was created with input from market research firms including HundredX, Glassdoor, SignalAI, Crunchbase, and People Data Labs. The evaluation considered more than 50 metrics across categories such as employee sentiment, client sentiment, financial performance, business trajectory, media reputation, and workforce stability. Only companies headquartered in the United States with over 10,000 employees were eligible.

BMO has recently received other honors as well. It was recognized for AI talent development in global banking and named one of the World's Most Ethical Companies by Ethisphere for the eighth year in a row.

BMO Financial Group is among North America's largest banks by assets—totaling $1.4 trillion as of July 31, 2025—and serves approximately 13 million customers across Canada, the United States, and selected international markets.
