Allianz Group has been ranked 17th among the World’s Best Workplaces, according to a recent announcement. The company is recognized as one of the largest insurers and asset managers globally, serving both private and corporate customers in nearly 70 countries.
Allianz provides a wide range of insurance services that include property, life, health, assistance services, credit insurance, and global business insurance. The group manages approximately 749 billion euros on behalf of its insurance clients as of June 30, 2025. Additionally, its asset management arms—PIMCO and Allianz Global Investors—oversee about 1.8 trillion euros in third-party assets.
The company attributes part of its success to integrating ecological and social criteria into business processes and investment decisions. This approach has contributed to Allianz’s leadership position within the Dow Jones Sustainability Index for the insurance industry.
In 2024, Allianz employed more than 156,000 people worldwide. The group reported a total business volume of 179.8 billion euros and an operating profit of 16 billion euros during that year.
