All visa appointments at the U.S. Embassy in the Philippines scheduled for November 10, 2025, have been canceled due to Typhoon Uwan. The embassy stated that the offsite Visa Application Center (VAC) in Paranaque City will also be closed for all photo and fingerprint collection appointments on that day.
"The safety of Consular staff and visa applicants is our top priority. Visa applicants who have scheduled appointments on November 10 should check their registered email address for detailed rescheduling instructions," the embassy said.
Applicants with urgent scheduling concerns are advised to contact the customer service center at (02) 8548-8223 for immediate assistance.
"We apologize for the inconvenience and urge our visa applicants to avoid flooded and dangerous areas," the statement added.
