Kimberly Guilfoyle, the new U.S. Ambassador to Greece, formally presented her credentials to President of the Hellenic Republic Konstantinos Tassoulas on November 4. The presentation marks the official start of her tenure as ambassador.
After the ceremony, Guilfoyle stated: “It was a profound honor to present my credentials to President Konstantinos Tassoulas. I’m deeply honored to serve as U.S. Ambassador to the Hellenic Republic and to be our Nation’s first female Ambassador to Greece. I look forward to working with our Greek Allies to advance peace, prosperity, and security in the Eastern Mediterranean and will be a proud representative of President Donald J. Trump, a fierce advocate for American interests, and a steadfast friend to Greece and the Greek people.”
Guilfoyle arrived in Greece on November 1 and is now serving as the 25th resident U.S. Ambassador to the country.
