On November 4, the 8th China International Import Expo SINOPEC Forum and Signing Ceremony was held in Shanghai. The event focused on the theme "Technology Driven, AI Empowered: The Future of Energy." During the ceremony, Sinopec signed procurement agreements with 34 partners from 17 countries and regions. These agreements cover a range of ten categories including crude oil, chemicals, equipment, and materials. The total value of these contracts amounts to $40.9 billion.
Since the first session of the China International Import Expo (CIIE), Sinopec has now signed procurement agreements totaling over $325 billion across all eight annual events.
Sinopec stated that it aims to use technological innovation and digital tools to accelerate its move toward more advanced, intelligent, and environmentally friendly operations. The company also expressed its intention to collaborate with global partners for a sustainable future.
