The World Bank has released a new publication titled "Evolving Practices in Public Investment Management: Proceedings of the Ninth Public Investors Conference." The proceedings are based on the conference held on September 12–13, 2024, at the Monetary Authority of Singapore's headquarters. The event featured peer-reviewed papers by academics and professionals focusing on portfolio and risk management for central banks, sovereign wealth funds, and public pension plans.

The Reserve Advisory & Management Partnership (RAMP) of the World Bank continues its role as a key partner in this initiative. According to the World Bank, "This publication continues RAMP’s mission to strengthen public asset management globally and advance knowledge sharing across the official sector investment community."

Since 2008, the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) and the World Bank have worked with various central banks to organize the biennial Public Investors Conference. The aim is to address policy issues, quantitative methods, and challenges faced by public investors worldwide.

The most recent conference was co-hosted by BIS, the World Bank, MAS, and Banca d’Italia. It brought together over 50 participants who discussed current trends affecting public investment management.
