Kimberly Ann Guilfoyle has been sworn in as the new United States Ambassador to Greece. The ceremony took place on September 29, 2025, in Washington, DC.
Guilfoyle has over twenty years of experience in law, media, and national political advocacy. Her career began as a prosecutor in the San Francisco and Los Angeles District Attorney’s Offices. There, she handled felony cases including domestic violence, sexual assault, and homicide. In 2000, she was appointed Assistant District Attorney in San Francisco and was recognized for her work on victims’ rights and trial litigation.
Her legal background led to a national media career. She is best known for co-hosting The Five on Fox News, where she discussed topics related to constitutional law and foreign affairs.
She is also an author of two books: "Making the Case: How to Be Your Own Best Advocate" and "The Princess and Her Pup," a children’s book.
Before her diplomatic appointment, Guilfoyle founded Polished Rice, Inc., served as Managing Member of Metropolitan Medspa LLC and KGT Productions LLC. She also played roles in national politics as Senior Advisor to President Donald J. Trump and National Chair of the Trump Victory Finance Committee for his presidential campaign.
A native of California, Guilfoyle graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Davis. She received her Juris Doctor from the University of San Francisco School of Law. She lives in Florida with her son Ronan Villency.
Guilfoyle is the first woman to serve as U.S. Ambassador to Greece and is the 25th person appointed to this role.
