Yuanta Financial Holding Company (FHC) and Yuanta Bank have once again received the Sports Enterprise Certification, a recognition given by Taiwan’s Ministry of Sports. The certification program, which began in 2016, aims to encourage companies to promote sports and foster healthy workplaces. The certificates are valid for three years.
The company emphasizes its commitment to employee well-being and workplace safety through systematic health management strategies and various care activities. According to the press release, "Yuanta Financial Holding Company (FHC) firmly believes that employees are the most valuable assets of an enterprise, and adheres to the core value of 'enhancing performance and promoting employee welfare' to build a safe, healthy, and inclusive workplace. With systematic health management strategies and rich and diverse employee care activities, Yuanta FHC and Yuanta Bank have both been awarded the Sports Enterprise Certification this year."
To promote health among employees, Yuanta FHC has introduced courses on stress relief, weight reduction, outdoor challenges, as well as technological fitness testing. Last year’s “Yuanta Earth Conservation Walkathon” attracted nearly 700 participants who collectively walked over 17,000 kilometers. This effort was estimated to reduce carbon emissions by about 4.2 metric tons.
Yuanta Bank has engaged healthcare professionals and fitness coaches to develop personalized health programs for staff members. The bank also launched a game-based incentive called “Passport to Good Health,” which encouraged more than half of participating employees to maintain healthy habits for over three months.
"The Yuanta Group continues to deepen and expand more diversified health promotion programs through all-round integration strategies to construct an excellent workplace where employees can work with peace of mind, live a healthy life, and realize their self-worth, and to join hands with all colleagues to write a chapter of sustainable development for the enterprise and the individual," according to the company statement.
