Luigi Ksawery Luca’ has been appointed as the new President and Managing Director of Toyota (GB) PLC, according to an announcement from Toyota Motor Europe NV/SA (TME). TME is responsible for overseeing wholesale sales and marketing of Toyota, GR (Gazoo Racing), and Lexus vehicles, as well as parts and accessories. The company also manages Toyota’s European manufacturing and engineering operations.

Toyota employs more than 26,000 people across Europe and has invested over 12 billion euros in the region since 1990. The automaker operates eight manufacturing plants in Portugal, the UK, France, Poland, Czech Republic, and Turkey. There are currently about 14.7 million Toyota and Lexus vehicles on European roads. These customers are supported by a network of 28 National Marketing and Sales Companies along with approximately 2,800 retail sales outlets across 53 countries including EU member states, the UK, EFTA countries, Israel, Turkey, and other Eastern European nations.
