Bank of America has announced that its fourth annual More Rewards Day will take place on Thursday, November 6, 2025. The event gives both consumer and business credit cardholders a single day to earn bonus rewards on purchases as the holiday season begins. Since the program began, Bank of America cardholders are expected to reach $100 million in total extra rewards earned, with $74 million already distributed during the first three years.
“We’re excited to uphold this annual holiday tradition and share this special offer with our clients,” said Lora Monfared, Head of Consumer Card Products at Bank of America. “More Rewards Day is all about celebrating our cardholders by awarding them bonus cash back, Miles or points as they prepare for the increased festivities and spending that the holiday season brings.”
On November 6, eligible Bank of America credit cardholders using rewards cards will automatically receive additional bonus rewards—2% cash back, 2 points per dollar spent, or 2 miles per dollar spent—on their first $2,500 in purchases. New Customized Cash Rewards and Unlimited Cash Rewards cardholders who are earning introductory bonuses can stack these new rewards for higher totals: up to 8% cash back in certain categories for Customized Cash Rewards holders and up to 4% for Unlimited Cash Rewards holders.
For those without a rewards credit card, there is a 2% cash back benefit applied as a statement credit. The maximum reward available is capped at $50 cash back, 5,000 points or miles, or a $50 statement credit per account or business entity. There is no need for enrollment; bonus rewards will be automatically credited.
A recent survey from Bank of America indicates that more than one-third (36%) of consumers expecting financial pressure during the holidays plan to use their credit card rewards to help manage expenses.
All open Bank of America consumer and business credit cards with active charging privileges qualify for the promotion. Cardholders with multiple cards can earn bonuses on each account during More Rewards Day.
Members enrolled in Preferred Rewards programs will continue to receive their standard Preferred Rewards bonuses but will not receive incremental bonuses on top of those offered through More Rewards Day or introductory offers for new accounts.
The promotion applies only to purchases made between midnight and 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on November 6. Retail transactions must have a transaction date matching November 6 to qualify; delayed transactions over 90 days do not count toward the offer. Bonus limits apply per account or business entity.
