Applicants are required to schedule individual appointments and follow specific instructions based on their needs. For children applying for their first U.S. passport and CRBA, parents can access detailed requirements and book appointments through the embassy’s designated link.
Children under 16 with a five-year passport must also follow outlined procedures and bring necessary documents to their appointment. Individuals over 16 who have a five-year passport or whose ten-year passport was issued more than fifteen years ago are instructed to review special requirements before scheduling.
Those whose passports have been lost or stolen should consult the embassy’s guidance on required documentation and make an appointment accordingly.
For standard ten-year passport renewals, the embassy advises that applications be submitted by mail, providing step-by-step instructions online.
The embassy emphasized the importance of booking one appointment per person to ensure efficient processing during the outreach event.
