Morgan Stanley leads $60 million funding round for Corvus Energy's clean maritime tech

Morgan Stanley Investment Management announced that its 1GT private climate equity strategy has led a $60 million Series E funding round for Corvus Energy, a company specializing in low-carbon energy storage systems for maritime vessels. The investment consortium also includes Just Climate and J. Lauritzen.

The group aims to provide growth capital, industry expertise, and strategic partnerships to support Corvus Energy’s expansion as it responds to increasing demand for clean and efficient maritime energy storage solutions.

Corvus Energy was founded in 2009 and has been headquartered in Bergen, Norway since 2019. The company provides advanced battery technology and intelligent energy management systems for various types of vessels, such as ferries, offshore service ships, and cruise liners. These technologies help enable zero-emission or low-emission operations globally.
