Standard Chartered has announced that its Signature CIO Funds have surpassed USD3 billion in assets under management (AUM) three years after their launch. The funds, introduced in 2022, are designed to give clients access to the bank’s Chief Investment Office strategies through globally diversified multi-asset portfolios. These include global equities, bonds, commodities, liquid alternatives, and cash.
The Signature CIO Funds are now available to Wealth and Retail Banking clients across 12 markets worldwide, expanding a discretionary portfolio management approach that was previously reserved for high-net-worth private banking clients. The four-fund suite—Conservative, Income, Balanced, and Growth—is managed by Amundi Asset Management. Since inception, these funds have delivered compound annual growth rates ranging from 5.6% to 15.7%.
Clients in countries such as Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Nigeria have reported satisfaction with the funds’ performance during volatile market conditions. Standard Chartered has also observed increased interest among younger investors aged between 30 and 45 years old.
Samir Subberwal, Global Head of Wealth Solutions at Standard Chartered said: “As a leading international wealth manager, we continue to innovate and build on our suite of comprehensive products for our clients, leveraging our open architecture framework.
