A demonstration organized by the Pro-Palestine movement is set to take place in Belgrade on Sunday, October 5. The event, which will be held under the slogan “Death to NATO Fascists,” is scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m. The march will start in front of the Skyline Tower building near the Gazela Bridge and proceed toward both the Israeli and U.S. Embassies.
The U.S. Embassy in Belgrade has issued a security alert regarding this demonstration. According to the alert, temporary road closures and traffic diversions are expected along the route of the march. Public transportation operating on or near these streets may experience delays or rerouting. Residents and commuters are advised to consider alternative routes and allow for additional travel time.
There is also a possibility that unplanned demonstrations could occur elsewhere in the city during this period.
The embassy recommends several actions for those in Belgrade: "Avoid the area if possible," "Monitor local media for updates," "Keep a low profile," and "Be aware of your surroundings."
