Siemens eMobility has introduced SICHARGE Flex, a new electric vehicle (EV) charging system designed for the megawatt era. The system offers high power density and various dispenser options to accommodate different site requirements.

The SICHARGE Flex features both uncooled and liquid-cooled CCS2 dispenser columns. The uncooled dispensers deliver up to 375A, with peak performance at 500A, and are available in single or dual gun configurations with cable lengths ranging from 3 to 9.5 meters. Liquid-cooled versions provide up to 500A, peaking at 600A, also with flexible configuration options.

Additionally, the system includes MCS/CCS2 liquid-cooled dispenser columns capable of delivering up to 1500A, with an optional 800A setting. These columns can be equipped with either MCS outlets or a combination of MCS and CCS2 outlets.

According to Siemens eMobility, "En-route charging with SICHARGE Flex enables CPOs to provide versatile charging hubs for cars, trucks and buses." The company also states that "The flexible assembly options for SICHARGE Flex charging dispensers can electrify virtually every depot," highlighting its adaptability for various applications including public charging stations, bus depots, and logistics centers.

Large fleets of electric trucks can be charged efficiently using the flexibility and intelligence provided by SICHARGE Flex. Siemens eMobility combines hardware, software, and service solutions tailored for public charging as well as fleet operations in bus and logistics depots.

Further details about the product are available through the SICHARGE FLEX Brochure and related presentations on the company's website.
