The U.S. Commercial Service (USCS) at the U.S. Embassy in Seoul has announced the recruitment of participants for its official delegation to CES 2026, scheduled to take place in Las Vegas from January 6 to January 9, 2026.
CES is recognized as a major global technology event where business leaders and innovators gather. In the previous year, attendance exceeded 140,000 people from over 150 countries, with approximately 4,500 exhibitors and more than 1,200 speakers presenting across various sessions.
According to the USCS, "USCS has organized CES delegations for domestic institutions and companies every year. This year, IT-related organizations, companies, and individuals applying for the delegation will receive complimentary admission passes and additional benefits."
Delegation members who register through the provided link will receive invitation emails on a rolling basis. The program offers several benefits including complimentary CES admission passes valued between $100–$300. These passes provide access to exhibit halls, keynotes such as Lenovo’s Chairman & CEO Yuanqing Yang’s address, select conference sessions, and networking events.
Additional perks include access to the International Business Center with amenities like Wi-Fi and meeting rooms by reservation; a 25% discount on Deluxe Conference Passes; a 10% discount on StoryTech VIP Industry Expert Tours; invitations to international networking events; and a guidebook that will be distributed in December.
The official theme for CES 2026 is “Smarter AI for All.” Exhibition topics cover areas such as artificial intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, digital health, robotics, vehicle technology and advanced mobility solutions.
The USCS clarified: "The CES 2026 Delegation program organized by the U.S. Embassy Seoul provides complimentary passes and benefits to support participation by Korean stakeholders. Please note that this does NOT mean traveling together as a group or joining a guided tour."
