Over the past several months, WhatsApp has introduced a series of new features designed to enhance user experience in both chats and calls. The updates include the ability to send Live Photos on iOS and Motion Photos on Android, allowing users to share images with sound and movement.

The platform has also expanded its customization options. Users can now use Meta AI to create personalized chat themes, although this feature may not be available to everyone. New sticker packs such as Fearless Bird and Vacation have been added, offering more ways for users to express themselves without text.

Searching for group chats has become easier. Instead of recalling creative or complex group names, users can search for someone who is a member of the group within the Chats tab. This will display all groups shared with that contact.

Android users now have access to document scanning directly within WhatsApp, a feature previously limited to iPhone users. This allows them to scan, crop, and send documents without leaving the app.

Additionally, Meta AI can now be used to generate custom backgrounds for video calls or when taking photos and videos within chats. This provides users with more creative options during their interactions.

WhatsApp indicated that more updates are planned in the near future.
