Yuanta Securities recently organized its 2025 Employee Family Day events at three locations in Taiwan: the Kaohsiung National Science and Technology Museum, the Taichung National Museum of Natural Science, and the Taipei Children’s Amusement Park. The theme for this year was “Plastic-Free Living, Low-Carbon Future,” focusing on promoting sustainable environmental practices among employees and their families.

The events gathered more than 7,500 participants from across Taiwan. Activities included interactive family booths such as “Walking Challenge: Passing on Sustainability Knowledge,” “Sustainability Flip-Flop: Ocean Secrets Revealed,” and “Little Eco-Heroes: Sustainability Experts.” These activities were designed to help children develop an early awareness of environmental issues and encourage them to practice plastic reduction at home.

In addition to environmental education, the event featured an anti-fraud awareness area. Law enforcement agencies like the Criminal Investigation Bureau were invited to conduct interactive Q&A sessions, scenario simulations, and case studies aimed at raising awareness about fraud prevention among employees and their families.

A food carnival was also part of the event, featuring charity booths with handmade cookies from sheltered workshops and food trucks offering a range of creative dishes. This aspect promoted both healthy eating habits and environmentally conscious lifestyles.

Beyond Family Day activities, Yuanta Securities has continued its involvement in public welfare initiatives. The company participated in support efforts for underprivileged groups by joining the Nangang Church of Revival’s 1919 Food Bank initiative, providing essential supplies to families in need. Additionally, Yuanta Securities worked with the Hongdao Senior Citizens’ Welfare Foundation to organize a “Senior Companion Day” event where volunteers visited senior day care centers for plant identification lessons, board games, and shared meals with elderly residents.

Yuanta Securities stated: “Family Day is not only an event for employees to bond and share family time, but also a concrete practice in advancing our ESG initiatives.” The company emphasized that making plastic reduction and low-carbon living central themes aligns with its commitment to strengthening employee cohesion while deepening social responsibility within local communities. According to Yuanta Securities, these actions reflect its ongoing promise to give back to society.
