The U.S. Embassy in Santo Domingo has issued a warning to visa applicants regarding the use of unauthorized services that promise earlier appointments. The embassy has received anonymous tips about individuals attempting to manipulate the visa appointment system through bots and other methods.
In response, the embassy is implementing new technical measures to address these activities. Officials emphasized that any applicant found trying to manipulate the system could face serious consequences.
"You are responsible for your visa application. Any attempt to manipulate the appointment system is both unfair to other applicants and puts your application at risk. Potential consequences include: appointment cancellation, visa refusal, and visa cancellation. Protect yourself, protect the process. Follow the rules, do not attempt to manipulate the appointment system, and stay away from visa fixers who offer these services," stated embassy representatives.
The embassy encourages all applicants to follow official procedures and avoid engaging with third parties who claim they can secure earlier appointments through unofficial means.
