U.S. citizens who require emergency assistance can contact the embassy at 242-461-5025. The Bahamas government has also declared that all schools and government offices in Nassau, except for essential workers, will be closed on Monday.
Individuals with visa appointments originally set for September 29 will receive an email with instructions on how to reschedule. For questions about scheduling or applying for a visa, customer service agents are available at 242-603-1290 within The Bahamas or at 703-831-3448 from the United States between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
