The first regional workshop for teachers of American English from Algeria, Libya, Morocco, and Tunisia was held with an emphasis on 21st-century skills. The event included both virtual and in-person sessions and aimed to enhance critical thinking, creativity, and micro-teaching abilities among participants.

Organizers described the program as a significant development for English language education in North Africa. "With virtual & in-person sessions, this program is a game-changer for English language education in North Africa!" they stated.

The workshop brought together educators from four countries to collaborate and improve their teaching methods, focusing on skills that are increasingly important in modern classrooms.
