Ambassador Robert F. Godec welcomed 37 participants of the U.S. International Academic Partnership Program (IAPP) to Thailand. The group is set to visit 13 institutions throughout the country to gain insights into Thailand’s educational system.

According to the U.S. Mission in Thailand, “All are looking forward to working with Thai institutions to create sustainable higher education partnerships.” The mission also emphasized its commitment: “The U.S. Mission in Thailand is committed to developing new academic partnerships and enhancing existing relationships. IAPP is a huge leap in this direction.”

The IAPP initiative marks the first collaboration of its kind between the United States and Thailand, aiming to foster academic exchanges and research ties among 18 American and 29 Thai institutions.
