Samsung Electronics has announced an expansion of its partnership with Toyota Motor to bring Samsung’s Smart Signage solutions to more Toyota dealerships in new markets. This move builds on a digital transformation project completed earlier in 2025, which saw the installation of digital signage at 1,250 dealerships across 40 countries in Europe.

The collaboration aims to improve the customer experience by integrating digital tools into the dealership environment. According to Hoon Chung, Executive Vice President and Head of Enterprise Business team, Visual Display (VD) Business at Samsung Electronics: “The trend of digitalizing car dealerships is accelerating globally, and digital signage is playing a key role in that shift. Through our partnership with Toyota Motor, we’re proud to deliver innovative solutions that amplify the car-buying process for customers worldwide. We’re also committed to developing differentiated technologies tailored to the needs of globally diverse markets.”

To date, about 23,000 Samsung Smart Signage displays have been deployed across Toyota locations in Europe, the Middle East, and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). These installations include touchscreens and indoor LED displays placed in reception areas, consultation booths, vehicle display zones, and customer lounges. Among the products used are models from the QMC Series—4K UHD displays ranging from 43 to 98 inches with non-glare panels and EPEAT Silver certification for environmental performance.

Customers visiting these digital dealerships can browse vehicle models and specifications or view offers using interactive screens. The touch-enabled features allow visitors to customize their ideal vehicle configurations directly on screen. This setup helps staff spend less time on routine explanations and more time engaging personally with customers.

All displays are managed remotely through MagicINFO, Samsung’s device management platform. MagicINFO enables Toyota teams to monitor screen performance and resolve issues from a central dashboard. The system is certified under ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and ISO/IEC 27701:2019 by the British Standards Institution for meeting international standards on information security and privacy management.

Dirk Christiaens, Business Transformation and Brand Experience Manager at Toyota Motor Europe said: “Bringing Samsung’s digital signage into our dealerships has added real value at every point of the customer journey. There are multiple stages to the car-buying journey, and we must communicate the right information at the right time to deliver a great customer experience. The ability to remotely manage our displays in real time through MagicINFO has greatly increased customer engagement across our digital dealerships.”

Industry analysis shows that global demand for digital signage is growing rapidly; Omdia projects that this market will reach $12.6 billion by 2029. In Q2 2025 alone, Samsung held a record-high market share of 38.8% by volume among commercial display providers—a position it has maintained for 17 consecutive years according to Omdia’s Public Display Report (consumer TVs excluded).

Toyota continues its commitment toward innovation as part of its broader mission focused on safety, quality products and services, electrification technologies, intelligence solutions and supporting sustainable development goals worldwide (https://global.toyota/en/).
