Santander has announced the launch of over 300 positions for young people interested in starting a career in investment banking. The initiative is part of its international young talent programs, which are now open for applications in more than 10 countries. These programs target university students and recent graduates who will join the bank’s global teams.

The application deadline is set for November 30, 2025. Opportunities are available at Santander Corporate & Investment Banking (Santander CIB), where participants will work on projects related to capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, structured finance, trade finance, and treasury management.

There are two main programs being offered:

The Santander CIB Summer Internship Program is designed for students in their penultimate undergraduate year or first-year master’s degree students. This eight-week program takes place during the summer months and involves working on key projects across Global Banking, Global Markets, or Global Transaction Banking. Participants receive mentorship and guidance throughout the program. Upon completion, they may be eligible to join Santander’s graduate program after finishing their studies.

The Santander CIB Graduate Program targets final-year undergraduates or recent graduates as well as master’s students in their final year. Over one year at Santander, participants join multidisciplinary teams that work on real transactions with major clients and gain an international perspective of the business.
