Siemens Mobility appoints Beatrice Bock as CFO following Karl Blaim's departure

Karl Blaim will step down from his role as Chief Financial Officer and Managing Director of Siemens Mobility on November 30, 2025. He is leaving the company to pursue new professional opportunities after a long career at Siemens.

Beatrice Bock has been named as his successor. She is currently the Chief Risk Officer for the Equity Finance Business Unit at Siemens Financial Services GmbH. Bock joined Siemens in 2010 and has held several roles across different divisions, including positions at Siemens Mobility, Siemens Energy, and most recently at Siemens Financial Services. She holds a Master of Science in Energy, Trade and Finance from Bayes Business School.

Roland Busch, President and CEO of Siemens AG and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Siemens Mobility, commented on the appointment: “By bringing Beatrice Bock on board, we are appointing a highly qualified leader from within our own ranks to take on these substantial responsibilities. Her extensive experience in financial strategy and risk management is invaluable, particularly in such a challenging economic environment. Together with Michael Peter, an outstanding CEO in the mobility business, she will continue Siemens Mobility’s ongoing strategic development and will further strengthen our position as a technology leader in the transportation industry.” He also thanked Karl Blaim for his service: “On behalf of the Managing Board of Siemens AG, I would like to thank Karl Blaim for 40 years of service to Siemens, including many years in senior leadership roles at Siemens Mobility. With his personal commitment, he has contributed to the success of Siemens Mobility and has given our transportation business direction in difficult times.”
