The North Dakota National Guard is expanding its collaboration with Togo through the State Partnership Program, focusing on security cooperation, emergency preparedness, and commercial opportunities. The partnership involves working closely with the Ministry of Security and Civil Protection, including the Agence Nationale de la Protection Civile, as well as Togo's Chief of Defense Staff.
Brigadier General Mitchell Johnson, Adjutant General of the North Dakota National Guard, led a recent visit to Lomé. During this visit, Brig. Gen. Johnson met with Calixte Madjoulba, Minister of Security and Civil Protection, and Brig. Gen. Dimini Allaharé, Chief of Staff of the Togolese Armed Forces.
