The U.S. Embassy in Ashgabat has announced it will hold an in-person auction on September 24, 2025. The event is scheduled to take place from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the embassy, located on Pushkina Street 9, with entry from Magtymkuly Street near Karz Bank.

According to the announcement, the General Services Office of the embassy will offer used office and residential furniture, appliances, and other items for sale during the auction. Staff will be available to answer questions about the items during the event.

Successful bidders will receive notification by phone after the auction ends. Those individuals will be required to arrange payment on September 25 and collect their purchases on September 29.

Participants must bring a valid form of identification to attend. "All auction rules will be provided on September 24 and must be followed," according to embassy officials. The notice also states, "All sales are final, and items will be sold in the condition presented at the auction."
