The update includes AI-powered features such as Portrait Studio, which can generate artistic pet portraits from photos. It also offers Call Captions for real-time voice-to-text conversion during calls and Interpreter for translating text input during conversations. “Powered by multimodal AI designed to deliver experiences tailored to user needs, One UI 8 transforms the way users interact with Galaxy devices. By combining visual, auditory and contextual intelligence, it makes everyday tasks intuitive and effortless,” Samsung said.
One UI 8 is designed to adapt across various device form factors in Samsung’s product portfolio. Samsung plans for a broad deployment of One UI 8 throughout 2025 on many eligible devices in its lineup.
