On September 10, 2025, U.S. Chargé d’Affaires Alan Purcell hosted a delegation of American business leaders and representatives from Georgian business and government sectors. The event was part of a visit by a U.S. business delegation focused on exploring trade, energy, infrastructure, and logistics opportunities in the Middle Corridor region.
The visit was organized with support from the U.S. Commercial Service, the America-Georgia Business Council (AGBC), the United States-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce (USACC), and the American Chamber of Commerce in Kazakhstan. The itinerary included stops in Georgia, Kazakhstan, and Azerbaijan.
During their time in Georgia, the group examined ways to strengthen cooperation between the United States and Georgia in areas such as critical infrastructure, digital trade, new technologies, transportation, and logistics.
