Starting March 24, 2025, the Consular Section of the U.S. Embassy in Montevideo will receive visitors at a new entrance located at the corner of Yaro and Lauro Muller.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held to mark the occasion, with Ambassador Heide Fulton joining consular staff for the event.
The new entrance comes as part of a renovation project at the embassy building. The embassy advises all visitors to ensure they have the necessary documentation before arriving for consular services.
