Fubon Insurance and Fubon Life, subsidiaries of Fubon Financial Holdings, have received a total of 20 awards at the 2025 Faith, Hope & Love Awards of Insurance. The awards ceremony was organized by the Risk Management, Insurance & Finance Foundation on August 5. This marks the eighth consecutive year that Fubon has led in industry award wins.
Fubon Insurance secured nine honors, including the annual grand prize “Insurance Company of the Year.” Other awards included “Best Social Responsibility Award,” “Best Insurance Professional Award,” “Best Insurance Education Contribution Award,” “Best Channel Strategy Award,” “Best Product Innovation Award,” and “Best Communication Office Award.” Individual recognitions were given for the “Best Insurance Achievement Award” and “Best Professional Advisor Award.”
Lai Rong-Chong, President of Fubon Insurance, commented: "Being honored with the title of 'Insurance Company of the Year' is a testament to the recognition from the judges and the collective efforts of all managers and colleagues, which have contributed to Fubon Insurance's achievements." He added that Fubon continues to drive service innovation through technology. In 2024, it became the first company approved by Taiwan’s Financial Supervisory Commission to collaborate with multiple Fintech companies for a one-stop insurance enrollment service. The company also launched "E-Finger Insurance," enabling customers to complete online insurance enrollment and claims applications in under 30 minutes using Mobile ID verification. Additionally, Fubon introduced an accident expense compensation insurance product aimed at covering incidents occurring at home.
Li Hui-ling, Vice President of Fubon Insurance, received the "Best Insurance Achievement Award" for her contributions over three decades, including helping launch Taiwan's first commercial crop insurance policy. Wang Hong-Yuan, Assistant VP at Fubon Insurance specializing in loss prevention, was awarded "Best Professional Advisor" for his work advancing risk control technologies and collaborating with academic institutions on risk assessment systems.
Fubon Life won six grand prizes and five honorable mentions at this year’s event. Its awards included recognition for professional services, social responsibility initiatives, integrated communication strategies, branch office management (Zhongchen Branch Office), channel strategy improvements, and contributions to insurance education.
Chen Sue-Iue, President of Fubon Life said: "By upholding the brand spirit of 'be positive, enrich life,' [the company] provides high-quality financial and insurance services to meet customer needs. This approach has been recognized by the judges, earning Fubon Life 11 awards." Chen highlighted achievements in talent development programs aimed at enhancing professional competence as well as investments in digital technology such as AI-powered customer service robots and real-time notifications via LINE messaging app.
The company also launched a commercial short code SMS system ("68999") for official communications—a first in Taiwan’s life insurance sector—and continues recruiting young talent into its business channels. Nearly 35% of business managers are now under age 30.
These recognitions reflect ongoing efforts by both subsidiaries to innovate through technology while focusing on customer service standards and sustainable development practices.
