Samsung Electronics has announced that it received significant recognition at the IFA 2025 Innovation Awards, earning nine Best of Innovation titles and 17 Honoree distinctions across several product categories. The awards were given ahead of IFA 2025, a major consumer technology trade show taking place in Berlin, Germany from September 5 to 9.
The IFA Innovation Awards are a new global program launched this year by IFA Berlin. The awards aim to highlight products that demonstrate notable innovation, design quality, and market impact. Winners receive certifications, licensing rights, media exposure, and opportunities for future participation at IFA events.
In the home appliance sector, Samsung’s Bespoke AI Laundry Combo received a Best in Design award. The washer-dryer offers both washing and drying functions in one cycle and features a 7-inch touchscreen for user interaction. According to Samsung internal testing, its wash cycle is approximately 20% more energy efficient than the standard A-grade machines under EU regulations. It also uses advanced heat pump technology to reduce drying time by up to 60% and energy use by as much as 75%, based on internal tests verified by KATRI (Korea Apparel Testing Research Institute).
The Movingstyle portable smart display was recognized with two awards: Best in Home Entertainment and Best in Design. Its design allows users to easily move the device between rooms using an integrated handle inspired by tote bags. The display can detach from its stand quickly to become self-supporting without additional accessories.
The Premiere 5 projector won awards for Best in Home Entertainment and Best of Tech Innovation. It is compact compared to traditional projectors but can project images up to 100 inches from short distances. Its Touch Interaction feature uses built-in IR laser and camera technology for intuitive control over content and interactive applications.
Samsung’s Freestyle+ portable smart projector was named Best in Home Entertainment due to its integration of on-device generative AI powered by the company’s proprietary AI Q Processor—the first such chipset included in a smart projector. Features include automatic image correction, obstacle avoidance, lighting adjustments, generative ambient visuals creation directly from the device, and audio synchronization with Samsung speakers or soundbars through AI Q-Symphony.
The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra secured two awards: Best in Content Creation and Best in Computing & Gaming. It combines productivity tools like a redesigned S Pen with advanced Galaxy AI capabilities and features a large Dynamic AMOLED display designed for immersive gaming experiences.
Galaxy Z Fold7 received the award for Best in Communications & Connectivity as Samsung’s thinnest foldable smartphone so far. With One UI 8 optimized for larger screens, it aims to enhance productivity using AI features tailored for foldable devices.

- Micro RGB Display: First of its kind featuring micro-sized RGB LED backlighting across a large screen.

- Spatial Display Signage: Provides depth effects without requiring special glasses.
