A consular officer from the U.S. Embassy will visit Saint Vincent and the Grenadines on September 10, 2025, to accept applications for U.S. passports and Consular Reports of Birth Abroad. The appointments will be held at Blue Lagoon Hotel & Marina, Ratho Mill, St. Vincent, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The embassy has clarified that this visit is strictly for routine consular services for U.S. citizens and does not include visa services or discussions regarding visa cases.
Appointments are required for all applicants and can be scheduled online at https://bb.usembassy.gov/consular-outreach-visits-for-u-s-citizen-services. Walk-ins and accompanying individuals without appointments will not be assisted.
Applicants must bring a completed passport application form (available at http://travel.state.gov), two passport-size photos (2” x 2”), original proof of U.S. citizenship such as a previous passport or birth certificate, a social security card, a prepaid air waybill for return delivery of documents, printed proof of online payment, as well as originals and photocopies of all documents including the current or previous passport being renewed.
Children under age 16 must provide additional documentation: their birth certificate; both parents’ passports or identification; photos showing the child’s development since the last passport issuance; and if both parents are listed on the birth certificate, both must appear in person with the child or provide a notarized consent form DS-3053 from any non-applying parent.
The embassy reminds applicants that eyeglasses may not be worn in passport photos and refers them to www.travel.state.gov for complete photo requirements.
Payment for services must be made online prior to the appointment—no bank drafts, cash, credit cards, or same-day payments will be accepted. Fees include US$135 for a child’s passport (under age 16), US$165 for an adult’s first passport (age 16+), US$100 for Consular Report of Birth Abroad, and US$50 per signature for notarials. Payment links are provided: https://www.pay.gov/public/form/start/1274042472/ for form DS-11 and https://www.pay.gov/public/form/start/1156527186/ for form DS-82.
Applicants renewing a 10-year passport issued less than 15 years ago can apply by mail directly to the Embassy with a fee of US$130; otherwise an in-person interview is required with a fee of US$165.
