Demonstrations are planned in several locations across Ireland on Saturday, September 6, 2025. The events, referred to as “Regional Marches for Palestine,” are expected to take place in Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Galway, and Carlow.

In Dublin, the march is scheduled to begin at 13:00 from the U.S. Embassy and proceed to the Ireland Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Other demonstrations will occur at Grand Parade in Cork at 13:00, Bedford Row in Limerick at 13:00, Spanish Parade in Galway at 12:45, and The Liberty Tree in Carlow at 12:30.

The U.S. Embassy has advised that road closures and traffic disruptions may occur near these demonstration sites. Transportation services could also be affected. U.S. citizens are encouraged to plan their travel routes accordingly and monitor local media for updates as additional demonstration locations and times could be announced by organizers.

The embassy has provided recommendations for those in Ireland during this period:

“Be aware of your surroundings

Review your personal security plans

Exercise caution if unexpectedly in the vicinity of large gatherings or protests

Monitor local media for updates

Enroll in Safe Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) to receive travel and security updates”
