World Food Programme Nigeria will use a $32.5 million contribution from the U.S. Government to provide food and nutrition assistance to internally displaced persons in conflict-affected areas of Nigeria. The funding will support efforts to deliver aid to 764,205 people across Northeast and Northwest Nigeria.

The program includes complementary nutrition top-ups for 41,569 pregnant and breastfeeding women and girls, as well as 43,235 children. These groups will receive electronic food vouchers as part of the initiative.

The assistance aims to address ongoing needs among populations affected by displacement due to conflict.
