Consular officer to offer limited services for Americans in Foz do Iguaçu on September 8

Staff from the U.S. Consulate General in São Paulo will visit Foz do Iguaçu, Paraná, on September 8, 2025, to provide limited consular services for U.S. citizens. The consular officer will be available to accept U.S. passport applications and meet with American citizens living or traveling in the area.

Appointments are required for those seeking assistance and can be scheduled by emailing SaoPauloACS@state.gov with “Foz do Iguaçu” in the subject line. Requests must be submitted by September 4 at 5:00 p.m., including the full name and date of birth of all individuals needing services or accompanying a passport applicant, the type of service required for each person, and a telephone number with area code.

Confirmation of appointments will be sent via email along with details about the location in Foz do Iguaçu and further instructions. Services are provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
