Yuanta Financial Holding Company (FHC) continues its focus on building a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace as part of its broader sustainability goals. The company held its second supplier conference of 2025 in August, bringing together more than 30 suppliers under the theme “DEI for Shared Growth, ESG for Sustainable Prosperity.” The event focused on current sustainability trends and the role of supply chain engagement in fostering a welcoming workplace environment.
During the conference, Yuanta FHC presented its achievements in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). These efforts include hiring employees from various backgrounds, supporting international talent development, and maintaining policies that prevent discrimination based on inherent characteristics. The company stated: "We construct a positive culture of mutual support and open expression." In addition to sharing internal progress, Yuanta invited consulting advisors and Acer e-Enabling Service Business Inc. to discuss practical applications of DEI and how inclusive cultures can drive innovation.
Yuanta Group has followed ISO 20400 sustainable procurement guidelines since 2020 as part of the Coalition of Movers and Shakers on Sustainable Finance. This standard involves assessing suppliers by ethical and sustainability measures while optimizing management processes. All contracted suppliers are required to adhere to the company's sustainable procurement terms.
Annual supplier conferences cover international trends such as carbon emissions management training, workplace health issues, and DEI topics. According to Yuanta FHC: "Through various thematic discussions, we integrate supply chain management with sustainable procurement principles."
The company’s ongoing commitment to embedding DEI into daily operations has been recognized through multiple awards both locally and internationally. "Our achievements have earned recognition through numerous domestic and international awards," Yuanta FHC stated. Notably, HR Asia has named Yuanta among the “Best Companies to Work for in Asia” for six years running. Additional honors include Taipei City Government’s Workplace Gender Equality Certification Gold Award for two consecutive terms as well as the Friendly Childcare Business Award for two years.
Looking ahead, Yuanta FHC plans continued collaboration with suppliers on DEI initiatives as part of its approach to sustainable business practices.
