The U.S. Embassy in Ashgabat will hold an in-person auction on September 4, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at its warehouse facility located at Archabil 28. The General Services Office will be offering a broken generator for sale at a starting price of $3,000. The generator is a 12V-92 Detroit Diesel engine model and comes with spare parts.
According to the announcement, "Questions about the generator will be answered during the auction. The successful bidder will be notified by phone at the conclusion of the auction. At that time, they will be asked to arrange payment and pick up."
All participants are required to bring valid identification. Auction rules will be provided on site and must be followed by all attendees. Items sold at the auction are offered “as is,” and all sales are final once payment has been made.
