The American Institute in Taiwan (AIT) has announced a solicitation for air conditioning maintenance and cleaning services at its Kaohsiung office. The contract, listed under Solicitation No. TPE200-25-Q-0030, will be awarded as a firm-fixed-price agreement to the lowest-priced, technically acceptable offer.

To qualify, firms must demonstrate several requirements including proficiency in English, an established business presence with a permanent address and telephone number, and at least five years of relevant experience with suitable references. Additional criteria include possessing necessary personnel, equipment, financial resources, required licenses and permits under local law, meeting local insurance standards, having no adverse criminal record or conflicting political or business affiliations with AIT interests, and compliance with Section 889 of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).

Interested companies are required to review the provided solicitation documents and submit a signed NDAA Vendor Certification Form before contacting AIT Procurement at Taipei_Procurement@state.gov. The deadline for sign-up for the pre-proposal conference is September 10, 2025. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
