The U.S. Embassy in Doha has announced changes to its nonimmigrant visa interview waiver procedures. According to the update, all nonimmigrant visa applicants, including those younger than 14 and older than 79, must now attend an in-person interview with a consular officer.

Applicants are encouraged to use the Embassy’s Visas Navigator, an online tool that helps answer common questions and guides users through the application process.

The Embassy advises applicants and the public to use only official Embassy resources for accurate information. Updates will be provided on the Embassy’s website and social media channels.
