The U.S. Embassy in Tunis has announced a request for quotations for the purchase of iPads, specifying a need for VAT-free offers. The devices required include 13 units of the iPad Pro 12.9 Wifi cell with 128GB storage and 26 units of the iPad mini Wifi cell with 64GB storage.

Interested vendors are instructed to submit their quotations in sealed envelopes, separating technical and financial offers. The technical offer must provide proof of an established business, SAM registration, technical specifications, and NDAA certification. The financial offer should be VAT-free, signed, and stamped.

All submissions should be marked “Quotation Enclosed” and delivered to the American Embassy Tunis at Les Berges du Lac 1053 – Tunis by September 12th, 2025 at 10am. Late proposals will not be considered.

"The Embassy encourages you to make your quote competitive. The RFQ does not commit the American Embassy to make any award."

The embassy stated that payment will be made within 30 days after receipt of order and original invoice with banking information.

Vendors are reminded that registration in SAM.gov is mandatory for contract awards. Those already registered should provide their Entity Identity Number; others are encouraged to begin registration as soon as possible since contracts cannot be awarded without it.

As part of new requirements, companies must also confirm compliance with NDAA regulations as outlined in Federal Acquisition Regulation clause FAR 52.204-24 (https://www.acquisition.gov/far/52.204-24).
