The U.S. Embassy is working to strengthen its connections across Togo, highlighting the University of Kara as a significant partner in these efforts. The university hosts the American Corner Kara, which serves as a center for cultural exchange, education, and community engagement.

Recently, President Tcharie visited the American Center in Lomé and met with Chargé d’Affaires Richard Michaels and members of the Public Diplomacy team. The discussions focused on expanding collaboration between the two institutions. According to embassy representatives, "With U.S. support for faculty and growing academic and cultural ties, our cooperation continues to deepen."

The partnership aims not only to promote academic initiatives but also to encourage innovation and business development throughout Togo. Embassy officials emphasized that this cooperation is intended to create economic opportunities nationwide.
