Representatives from the Regional Federal Benefits Unit at the U.S. Embassy in Costa Rica will travel to Nicaragua to provide in-person assistance regarding U.S. Social Security and other federal benefits. The services will be available at the Consular Section of the U.S. Embassy in Nicaragua, located at Km. 5.5 Carretera Sur, from September 22 to 25 between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Appointments are mandatory for those seeking assistance; walk-ins will not be accepted. To schedule an appointment, individuals should email ACSManagua@state.gov before September 19 with "H99 – Social Security Visit" in the subject line. The email should include the person's name, last four digits of their social security number, phone number, details about the service needed, and preferred day for the appointment. After submitting this information, applicants will receive a response confirming their scheduled date and time.

Attendees are required to bring both originals and copies of their birth certificate, passport, and any supporting documents necessary for their case.

"We look forward to seeing you there!" stated representatives from the embassy.
