A virtual matchmaking event focused on the U.S. tourism sector is scheduled for September 8–10, 2025. The event, titled Destination USA, will be held online and aims to connect international travel buyers, tour operators, location scouts, and media with U.S. destinations and service providers.

Participants will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from various locations across the United States, including destinations that are not widely known. The event will also feature connections to iconic film locations, sports events, and other attractions.

The format consists of one-on-one virtual meetings lasting 25 minutes each, with five-minute breaks in between. Meetings can be scheduled from 7:00 AM to 11:55 PM Eastern Time, allowing participants flexibility in setting their availability. Matchmaking for meetings opens on August 11.

There is no cost for participants to join the event. Organizers state that attendees can "expand into key USA markets without travel costs" and "build long-term international partnerships that drive future sales." Registration is available at https://events.trade.gov/en/TradeGov/DestinationUSAVirtualMatchmakingProgram/.
