Everest Group, Ltd. has announced the appointment of Laura Hay as an independent, non-executive member of its Board of Directors. The company is a global provider of property, casualty, and specialty reinsurance and insurance solutions.
John Graf, Chairman of Everest, said, “Laura brings an unprecedented level of experience dealing with the complex risk, regulatory, capital market and accounting issues inherent in a global insurance platform. Hay has over thirty years of experience in insurance, financial services, and advisory roles. Before retiring in 2023, she served as Global Head of Insurance at KPMG LLP. In that position, she was recognized as the first female global insurance leader among Big Four accounting firms and managed a team spanning 90 countries. During her career at KPMG, Hay held various executive positions across audit, advisory, and actuarial services.
